      Overview

      This document outlines how to create a quote from an existing deal. 

      Target Audience


      This work process is intended for sales representatives who are selling contracted memberships. A signed quote must be obtained before running any payments in Chargify. 

      How to Create a Quote


      1. Open the Deal where you want to create a quote. On the right side of the screen scroll down to wear it says Quotes and click Add.




      1. Fill out Quote details
        1. Quote Template: Standard Modern
        2. Quote Name: Members Name - Membership being sold 
        3. Expiration date: Should be just within 7 days (Remember quote should be signed right away).
        4. Purchase terms: click on Insert Snippet. Search for contract terms and click on insert. If this is not added, the deal owner will not be eligible for commission.

      1. The Buyer Information detail screen will show you the name of the member. Always make sure to verify that it is the correct member. Once verified that it is the correct member, click Next.

      1. The next page will show the Marketing Consultant info. Edit the info if necessary to reflect correct information. Click Next.


      1. From the Review Line Items page, click the Select from product library button. 


      1. From the folders dropdown menu, select the correct folder of the product. 

      DPP Plus - contains the digital, premium, and platinum plus products

      Bundle - contains all bundled products

      RM Plus - contains all referral marketing plus products


      Always look for the folder with the tag “Current”.      


      1. Under Signature and Payment make sure to select Use e-signature. Under Required signatures make sure that the members email has a check mark. If the member requests for a counter signer you can add that person's email address and it will appear underneath the members email.

      Payment options must be kept in “No Payment”.  Once the page is filled out completely click on Next

      1. On the Review page, double check that all details are correct:
      • Product & Price
      • Contract Terms
      • Marketing Consultant
      • e-Signature

      Once you are sure that all information is correct, complete the creation of the quote by clicking on Publish quote.
