How to gather and report MTD Trial Sales and Spend

This report is provided to Charles each Wednesday by 9am EST

Step 1: Gathering Spend

  • Open MTD Trial Sales Report
  • Duplicate latest slide
    • Update date to today
  • Open Facebook Ads Manager
    • Open Campaigns
    • Set Date range for the current month (1st through today)
    • Impressions >0
  • Copy Total Spent from Facebook to the slide
  • Open Google Ads
    • Set date range for the current month
  • Copy the Cost to the slide
  • Open Emotive
    • Set Date range for the current Month
    • Hover over spend to see the current spend

  • Copy spend to the slide
  • Open Trial Sales Attribution Tracking sheet
  • Reach out to Michael for Affiliate Spend, Leads and Sales Numbers
  • Open GetResponse
    • If you do not have access to Michael’s login you can get spend from him
    • Get spend from GetResponse and copy that to the slide
  • Add all Spend together and put the total spend.
  • Divide the total by the current day of the month
  • Multiply this by the total days in the month
  • Add this estimate total to the slide.
  • Add the spend totals to the Ad Spend Monthly Calculations
  • It looks like this:

Step 2: Gather Sales

  • Open Trial Sales Attribution Tracking
    • Make sure it has been updated for the current date.
    • Make sure all test orders have been marked on the order system column.
  • Filter out test orders and Direct Sales
  • Count total sales and copy to the slide
  • Divide the Total Spend by the Total Sales to get CAC
  • Divide the total sales by the current day of the month
  • Multiply this by the total days in the month to get Estimate Sales total
    • Add this to the slide.

Step 3: Sales Traffic Breakdown

  • This step is completed by Michael early on each Wednesday.
    • Make sure this has been completed and move on to the next step.
